This is what we did in our third day in Paris.  We started walking through the Louvre towards the river.  They are both very near Opera where our hotel was.  Once we crossed the river Seine, we looked for Rue Bonaparte.  In this rue or street is Ladurée where they sell the famous macaroons.  The one you can find in this Ladurée in this stree are for me the best of all.  I've tried others, even from Ladurée as well but nothing like the one in this street.  They are the best.

At the end of Rue Bonaparte is the famous Saint Germain des Pres Church.  We were very lucky because inside the church they were playing some music with two different organs.  Quite nice.  We sat down and listen for a few minutes.

Then we continued walking until we reached LeBon Marche.  Sorry but there is no foto of this big store.  It was the first time we visited this store and it is quite popular in Paris.  There's this big supermarket they have were you can find many interesting products from all around the world.  We bought some bread and some salami that we ate in Jardin Du Luxembourg that was our next visit.  It is the park you can see in the photos.  It is a big and nice park and we were very lucky because the sun shined and there are lots of chairs to sit and rest.

In the afternoon we walked through the "Quartier Latin" , crossed the Sena again and visited Notre Dame.  The cathedral is just beautiful and another place I always visited when I go to Paris.  The only problem is that there are too many people, really too many.  So there's no silence once you are inside and that's not so great considering you are inside a church.

Last photo is that of the Hotel de Ville that is the City Hall in Paris.  It looks like a castle.

There are no more photos but after this we went to Le Marais to visit Carnavalet Museum.  Unfortunately it was closed when we arrived and it started to rain as well.  By then we were a little bit tired and took a bus back to Opera Avenue.
