Manta de algodón a rayas

 

Hacía mucho, pero que mucho que no subía en el blog.

Esta manta es de hace un par de meses.  De los meses de confinamiento.  Es de algódon.  Tenía las lanitas compradas hace tiempo y ha dado para una mantilla pequeña.  Ha quedado muy mona.

Siento la calidad de las fotos, en el ordenador las veo muy bien pero cuando las subo pasa esto.  Acabo de darme cuenta porque dejé de publicar en el blog, y es que además de la falta de tiempo, sigue sin funcionar muy bien, por lo menos en este ordenador.  En fin ....

This is a small blanket I made during our lockdown.  I wanted to crochet something colorful and fun.  I had some small yarns from Drops and this came out : ). It was a nice way to use them.

Sorry about the quality of the photos, apart from not having time to upload to the blog I just realize that I stopped posting because it was a struggle to upload images from the apple computer that I am using.  I don't know why I cannot see the photos as good as I see them in the computer. Well... 

Bolso de trapillo. El primero de 2018!!

Acabo de terminar este bolso de trapillo.  Es la primera vez que utilizo este trapillo.  No pesa pero me he tenido que pelear con los puntos de crochet.  No se si con una aguja mas grande (utilicé una número 8).  Me ha hecho falta como madeja y media.  La primera madeja tenia un defecto en la cinta a mediados que no me ha gustado mucho como ha quedado al hacer el punto.  Con todo hay colores muy bonitos y creo que es muy probable que vuelva a hacer algun otro bolso igual pero en otro color.

Just finished this crochet bag.  It is the first time I used this big ribbon, I love the colour and it is a light ribbon but I sort of have to fight my way as I was crocheting it.  The yarn had also a sort of defect in the middle of the first yarn that was not cool at all.  Anyway it is more than probable that I made another bag because the colours of this yarn are quite pretty.

Bolso Katia Washi Winter

Mi nuevo bolso.  Esta hecho en crochet con madeja y media de Katia Winter Washi.  Estoy contenta con el resultado pero tengo mis dudas con la calidad de la madeja porque he notado que se rompe y se desilacha con mucha facilidad y no es barata.  Me gusta mucho el color y que no pesa.  No me cabe duda de que la utilizaré porque es monisima.

My new crochet bag. I used Katia charcoal winter washi which is a type of big ribbon. I like the results but I am a bit concern with the quanlity of this yarn as I have found that it breaks and split really easy and it is not cheap. I do like the colour and it doesn't weight much. Anyway I like it and I think it is quite cute.

Bolso de Trapillo (crochet)

Ayer mismo terminé este bolso de trapillo.  Las dos madejas que he usado son Katia washi que me gustan mucho porque son trapillos ligeros y muy suaves.

Yesterday I finished this crochet bag.  I used two Katia washi yarns.  These yarns I like because they are quite soft.  The colours are really nice too.

Bolso de trapillo para mi hermana

Tenía este bolsito de trapillo empezado hace tiempo y este viernes pasado, víspera de Reyes, le eché un vistazo y pensé venga lo termino y se lo regalo a mi hermana en Reyes. Y aquí está. El trapillo es de Katia, tipo washi, muy suavito. Me ha gustado mucho como ha quedado.

This a small bag I gave to my sister this last weekend. Truth is that I have started it ages ago but I couldn't find the time to finished until last week. The yarn is from Katia, and it is the washi type which is very soft and light.

Dos estrellas (crochet)

One of my cousins had seen a pattern for a blanket in the form of a star in crochet.  She asked if I could help her to find a pattern and I found two videos in youtube and here are two ways to begin the stars.

Bolsita de crochet para regalo

Este verano envié a una de mis primas que estaba fuera tela, hilos y las instrucciones para hacer un cuadrito de punto de cruz.  Se me ocurrió hacer una pequeña bolsita para guardarlo todo. Tenía un par de madejas de algodón y un par de botones blancos y listo.  

This summer I sent to one of my cousin a few things so she could sew a small cross-stitch pattern.  I thought I could make a small crochet bag so she could use it to store the project while she was sewing it.  I had some cotton yarn around this is really so easy and quick to make from botton to top. 

Minibolsito (crochet)

Necesitaba un bolsito tipo bandolera para cuando salgo al super o cerca de casa y sólo quiero llevar el móvil, las llaves y el dinero.  Y ya lo tengo!! : )

Tenía por casa una madeja de trapillo del chino que compré el verano pasado y listo. No ha hecho falta nada a excepción de una cremallera que también tenía en casa.

Sometimes if I have to go to the super or a shop in the neighbourghood  I only need a small bag just for keys, money and phone. I didn't have one until now. I had a yarn of cheap big ribbon I bought last summer and a zipper and a couple of hours and here it is my minibag : ).

Mi nuevo bolso para este verano

Encontré esta primavera un nuevo tipo de trapillo que me encantó. Es de la marca Katia y pesa menos y es muy suave. Es un gustazo trabajar con el. Lo he decorado con una estrella que encontré en una tienda de abalorios y aunque en un principio no pensaba hacerlo al final le puse un forro que hice como pude ya que lo de coser no es mi fuerte. Me encanta como ha quedado.

This spring I found a new big ribbon from "Katia". This ribbon is a pleasure to work with. It is incredible soft and lighter than others I have work with in the past.

I love my new summer bag!!

Trapillo x 3 (crochet)

Creí que ya había subido al blog los dos bolsos a trapillo que he hecho este verano pero hoy que he entrado al blog para contestar un comentario me acabo de dar cuenta de que no. Perfecto porque hacía tiempo que no publicaba nada y esto me gustaría mucho subirlo al blog. Bueno pues aquí están mis dos bolsos de trapillo de este verano:

El primero es trapillo de algodón de la marca Katia. Es un gustazo trabajar con el y además no pesa y eso sí es algo caro. A este bolso le puse una tela de gitana de lunares rosa dentro. Me costó un poquito coserlo al trapillo pero ha quedado fenomenal.  

El segundo bolso lo hice con trapillo del chino.  Es más barato y es algo elástico pero pesa un poquito más que el otro. No le he hecho un forro de momento.  En lugar de botones le he puesto un botón de estos imantados (no se como se llama) y un corazón que encontré en una tienda de abalorios para collares y pulseras.  Igualmente estoy muy contenta con el resultado.

Aunque no es un bolso, le hice a mi hermana una funda de trapillo para su tablet. Es como podéis ver de un amarillo precioso y muy vivo. Yo me hice el año pasado una funda igual en rojo para la tablet. 

I totally forgot to publish this two small bags I did this summer with these big ribbons. Well three bags, although the yellow one was for my sister's new tablet.  The pink and the yellow ones are from Katia yarn.  They are both cotton and with bright colours. It is a very nice ribbon and doesn't weight too much.  The other bag is made with ribbon I bought in a chinese cheap shop. It is cheaper and kind of elastic but weight a bit more than the others.  The small heart was bought from a shop that sells things to make neklaces and bracelets.  I am quite happy with my bags. I will probably give one of them as a present.

Un par de tacitas

La semana pasada, dando una vuelta por Pinterest vi una tacita en crochet que me encantó. Por suerte el patrón estaba disponible (en inglés). Le eché un vistazo y me puse a ello. Al final he  hecho dos: una para mi y otra para mi hermana. La mía ya la estoy utilizando de alfiletero.

Last week I was looking around Pinterest when I saw a little crochet cup. I loved it. I looked the pattern and started it right away.  In the end I have made two. They are so easy to make. One is for me and the other is for my sister. I am already using mine as a pin cushion.

Mi mantita.

A estas alturas y con el calor que ya tenemos casi que no pega subir mi mantita al blog.  La tengo acabada desde hace más de un mes excepto por los flecos que quedan en la parte de atrás. De tamaño es igual que las que les regalé a mi hermana y a mi padre en Navidades. 

Tres mantas acabadas este año! Creo que no está mal.

This blanket is mine.  It is the third blaket I made (finished) this year and is for me. I did already make two this year: one for my sister and for my father for Christmas. I am really happy about it. I finished almost two months ago but I am still dealing with loose ends. The thing is that it is already hot here in Málaga and I don't think I'am going to use it until October or November so I will probably store it until then.

Mantas, Mantas y más mantas (crochet)

 

 

Este post viene con muuuuucho retraso.  Lo iba a ver publicado después de navidades ya que son dos regalos de Reyes.  Y es que vaya (como decimos por aquí) "pechá" de trabajar que me dí el mes de diciembre para tener terminadas estas dos mantas a crochet. Una para mi padre y la otra para mi hermana.  Creí que no lo conseguiría pero ahí están.

 

Los cuadritos ya los habeis visto en el blog anteriormente porque los empecé a hacer el año pasado. 

Aunque ya tenía algunos empezados cuando me propuse terminar las dos mantas para navidades todavía me faltaban muchos cuadritos. Cada manta han sido 64 cuadritos granny y además el borde.  He estado haciendo cuadritos grannys en todos lados.  Allí iba yo con mi bolsita y las lanas a hacer cuadritos.  Sobretodo los bordes. En fin no me puedo quejar mucho porque ha sido muy agradable.

 

Y bueno, poquito a poco pude terminar las dos mantas a tiempo.  No son muy grandes, es decir, no son colchas para una cama, son como para tenerlas en el sofá o en un sillón.  Las dos son cuadradas (8 filas x 8 columnas) y una mide 120 cm más o menos y la otra unos 115 cm.

 

 

Me gusta mucho como han salido las dos mantas.  La combinación de colores me encanta. Es muy de invierno.

 

 

 

 

Las mantas como veis no tienen ninguna dificultad y con los bordes tampoco me compliqué.  Ha sido un proyecto para relajarse y disfrutar, sin estar pendiente de patrones o historias.

 

Las lanas son de la marca Katia. Son sintéticas y son baratas. 

 

 



 

Cuando estuve en Londres en Noviembre encontré una cinta muy mona con la que decoré mis dos regalos.

 

 

 

Y el título es mantas, mantas y más mantas.  Sí, hay una tercera manta pero ya la pondré otro día en otro post.

 

These are two blankets I made as Christmas Presents.  One blanket was for my sister and the other one for my father.  I have started making granny squares last year but when in Autumn I decided I wanted to finished both of them for Christmas I still had lots of granny squares to make.  In the end and after working really hard I was able to finised them in time.  I have been making squares everywhere, some places I can complaint about : ).  They both are not very big, they are just for the sofa or for an armchair.  They have 64 squares (each) plus the border. I love the colour combination, it is so nice for winter.  It was a very easy project and all I wanted was to relax and have a nice time without worring about colours combination or following a pattern.  I found a nice ribbon for my presents last time I went to London.  It was perfect.  My dad and my sister are both happy with their blankets.  There is one more blanket but I will published it the blog as soon as I finished it.  Almost forgot to say that the yarns are Katia and they are quite cheap.
