Bufanda negra y verde.

Creo que hace casi dos meses que la terminé.  Se me había olvidado por completo.

It is been almost two month since I finished knitting it.  I have forgotten completely to post it here.

Bufanda de Enero Azul terminada

Por fin terminé la bufanda en tonos azules. Estoy muy contenta. Ha quedado preciosa y es muy calentita y suave. Sólo me queda estrenarla y me tengo quedar prisa porque aquí en Málaga pasamos del frío al calor en nada de tiempo.

Finally I finished my first scarf of this year. I love the colours and it is really soft.  I am looking forward to wearing it these cold days because we have not much of winter left here in Málaga.

Bufanda negra y verde

Esta es la segunda bufanda que empecé.  Voy más lenta porque quiero terminar primero la de tonos azules, pero bueno de vez en cuando hago alguna que otra vuelta.

This is the second scarf I have started this month.  I am not working as much as I would like because first I would like to finish the blue one.

Y una bufanda más!!

He empezado una bufanda más ademas de la de tonos azul.  Las lanas son también regalo de Reyes. Y es que estos días se prestan a hacer punto.

I have started a new scarf. This is the second one I start in this days. Let's see if I can finish them before spring!!

Gorros de lanas

Revisando las fotos que tengo en la tablet acabo de ver que no he subido cuatro gorros de punto que hice las navidades pasadas.  Tres de ellos fueron regalos para los sobrinos. Estoy pensando ahora que creo que hice alguno más ...

I was looking the photos in my tablet and I have found a couple of them of  wool caps that I made last Christmas. Three of them I gave to my nephews and niece.

Nueva bufanda

Lana nueva regalo de Reyes y días fríos y lluviosos, mejor momento imposible para empezar una nueva bufanda.

I got new yarn this Christmas and it is cold and raining, just the best time to start a new scarf!!

Bufanda 2017

Esta es mi nueva bufanda.  Es una preciosidad y nuy esponjosa y suave, justo a tiempo para estos días de frio. 

This is my new scarf. It is really pretty and  soft, I love it. We are having cold days so I finished it just in time!!

Funda para las gafas

La edad no perdona y he visto como en el último año necesito cada vez más gafas de cerca. Vamos lo que viene siendo vista cansada o presbicia.  Total que necesitaba una funda para las gafas de cerca e hice una.  La técnica que empleado es la misma que para los calcetines (en estos momentos no me acuerdo como se llama) pero vamos que las empecé con las agujas circulares más largas y cuando ya tenía la base pasé a unas agujas circulares de diámetro no se si 20 o 30 cm que compré este año y que me vienen muy bien para estas cosillas. Y ahora me estoy acordando de que la lana es la que me sobró de unos calcetines que hice este invierno.  No sé si subí esos calcetines al blog??!! luego miro.

I am getting older and one thing I notice this last year is that I cannot see that well at close anymore.  Nothing strange really.  It is just that I have never need glasses.  Well I bought myself a pair and I did a small bag for them.  I knitted it the same way I knit socks.  Actually it is done from a yarn left from some socks I made : ).

Calcetines grises y más.

Este invierno reconozco que estoy haciendo poco punto y muy poco crochet. No sé si es lo de siempre que ando muy corta de tiempo o es que como no ha hecho frío pues como que tampoco sabía muy bien que hacer.  

He estado aprendiendo algunas cosillas de hacer punto gracias a los videos que hay por internet.  Es una manera genial de aprender si no tienes a nadie cerca que te enseñe o no puedes ir a clases.  

Volví a hacer unos calcetines a punto.  He utilizado otra manera de incrementar puntos y otra forma de hacer el talón.  No estoy del todo convencida y quiero hacer otros y probar otras técnicas a ver cual es la que me es más fácil y me queda mejor.  Pero bueno lo importante es seguir aprendiendo y no han quedado tan mal.

He seguido la técnica de magic loop porque puedo utilizar las agujas circulares y además lo veo más fácil y la punta del calcetín queda muy bien.  Intenté las 4 agujas y para mi es un follón.

Además de los calcetines, he terminado un chal que tenía empezado desde hace años en punto.  La lana venía de reciclar un poncho que hice en su día en crochet que al final no me hizo mucha ilusión.  El chal no es espectacular pero es calentito y me es útil.

Y por último he hecho otra bufanda más que es igual que la que hice en octubre del año pasado para mi sobrino.  Esta ha sido para mi padre.

This winter I haven't done much knitting or crochet. I just don't know if it is because I don't have that much time anymor or because it hasn't been that cold for a winter, and I just didn't know  what to do.  I finished the blue shawl that I had started some years ago.  The yarn came from a crochet poncho I had made that in the end I didn't like so much so I undid it and used the yarn for this shawl.  It is not the best but it is warm.  

I have also been learning knitting from the videos that one can find in youtube.  It is a wonderful way specially if you don't have anyone around to ask or one cannot go to knitting classes. I have learn a few ways of increase and decrease and some other things.  I knitted a pair of socks again, the second one I made, and this time I used a differente way of increasing and a differente way of knitting the heel.   I still no happy with it and I would like to make a new pair and try another way that I like better.  I used the magic loop because I just cannot knit with the four or five needles. 

I have also made another scarf.  This is the second one I made this winter with the same yarn.  This one was for my father. 

Más vale tarde que nunca

Digo más vale tarde que nunca porque hará ya unas semanas que terminé el segundo cojín de ochos y tengo que decir que la parte delantera, vamos, la de los ochos la tenía terminada en noviembre de 2011. He tenido que buscar en mi blog y encontré la entrada aquí http://lastardesdeana.blogspot.com.es/2011/11/cojin-de-punto.html. 

Me faltan los botones de los dos cojines. Hoy he comprado un par de madera pero tengo que seguir buscando porque los quiero algo más grandes. En fin con un poco de suerte a lo mejor el año que viene ... ; ).

Finally I have finished the second knitted cushion.  This one I must say that was started in November 2011. Yep. 2011!!! I had to go and look for it in my blog. I still have to buy some buttons. I am looking but I sill haven't found them. Maybe next year ; ).

Un cojín muy invernal

Hace mucho tiempo, años, que empecé a hacer dos fundas para cojines tejidas en punto. Me gustó  mucho un diseño que vi en el blog de Mias Landliv y me decidí a hacerlo. El patrón me daba también la oportunidad de aprender y practicar los ochos que son tan invernales. El proyecto, como pasa con muchos proyectos, lo he ido retomando y dejando cada invierno hasta este otoño. Por lo menos uno lo he casi acabado y vamos a ver si me pongo las pilas y acabo el segundo también. 

Well one finished one to go.  These is the type of project that I have started years ago, tried to continued every year and never seemed to find the time to finished it. Until now. At least I finisned (almost, I have to buy the buttons) one of them.  Let's see if I can finished the other one. The pattern is from Mias Landliv's blog.

Mi primer calcetín a punto.

Esta no es la mejor estación para publicar la entrada de unos calcetines de lana y más con estos calores pero aquí están. 

Hace tiempo que tenía ganas de aprender a hacer calcetines a punto y buscando un día por internet encontré un video del montado mágico para hacer calcetines utilizando una aguja circular. Seguí las instrucciones de video y la puntera ya estaba lista. A partir de ahí fui siguiendo un patrón que tenía desde hace tiempo y para el talón volví a youtube y después de ver un par de videos y tomando alguna precaución fui capaz de terminar el calcetín.  Luego tuve que hacer el par que creo me ha salido un pelín más largo (con los calores no debí de contar bien). No han salido perfectos porque el punto no es lo mío pero no están mal. Ya seguiré practicando en otoño o invierno.

These are the first socks I have made knitting. This time of the year is not the best for knitting socks, it is too hot but I wanted to try something new and I always wanted to learn to knit socks.  I learnt after watching a couple of videos in youtube and following a pattern I found from internet. The second sock I made is longer than the first, it is what happens when it is too hot.

Historia de un cojín

A principios de otoño empecé a hacer un cuello en punto con las agujas circulares.  El punto es lo que peor se me dá y con las agujas circulares la verdad es que no tengo mucha soltura pero no está mal probar a hacer cosas nuevas de vez en cuando así que este es el cuello que quedó.

 

 

 

Como veis el punto no es que esté muy allá pero bueno.

 

 

Me probé el cuello y quedaba bien pero ... resulta que tengo en el salón un cojin pequeñito y se me ocurrió probar que tal quedaría. Y la verdad es que el tamaño era perfecto. 

 

 

 

Así que estuve dudando que hacer si dejar el cuello o hacer una funda de cojín y al final me decidí por el cojín.  Lo cerré por uno de los lados con una aguja de crochet y por el otro le puse unos botones y listo.  Mi nueva funda de cojín.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Last year at the beginning of autum I decided I wanted to make a knitted cowl.  I am not that good knitting but from time to time I like doing it.  This time I wanted to try knitting with the circular needles and make a cowl.  The stitches didn't come that good but it was also because I knitted not very often.  When I finished my new cowl I liked it but ... I just didn't know.  And suddenly I look to one small cushion I have (not very pretty) on an armchair and the size was like the new cowl.  So I try it and it was perfect.  I spent sometime deciding if I wanted a cowl or a new cushion and in the end I crochet one side and put some buttons on the other end and that was all. A new cushion.

Retomando proyectos.

Durante todo el año pasado una vez que terminaba de trabajar, la comida y luego un par de veces a la semana el gimnasio, la mitad de los días estaba muy cansanda para hacer crochet o punto y ya no digamos para hacer punto de cruz.  Con tanto fijar la vista por la mañana en el ordenador no me veía con fuerza por la tarde de seguir fijando la vista en el punto de cruz. ¿Qué ha pasado? Pués que he hecho poco de todo.

 

Con el nuevo horario, no es que tenga más tiempo, pero sí que, claro, por la mañana estoy descansada y además tengo mucha luz que me entra en la casa. Además el calor del verano ya ha pasado así que se presta de nuevo poder tocar las lanas. Por tanto he ido retomando algunos de mis proyectos de nuevo y tengo que decir que con muchas ganas.

 

 

 

Estoy trabajando de nuevo en las mantas que empecé el año pasado (o el anterior?).  Esta manta es la que llevo más adelantada.

 

 

 

 

De momento la fila es de ocho cuadritos y llevo unas tres filas y media.  Todavía me quedan unos cuantos cuadritos.

 

También he retomado esta manta, aunque va algo más atrasada.

 

 

 

 

Y tengo ya otra idea para otra manta granny porque he estado probando otro tipo de combinación con los mismos colores más o menos.

 

 

 

Esta nueva combinación me gusta mucho.  Ya veremos.

 

También en crochet he retomado mi manta blanca o beige (según se mire la lana) que empecé también hace un par de años.  Estos últimos días que ya empieza a hacer algo de fresco está muy bien para trabajar delante de la tele y estar calentita. Todavía me queda bastante pero no va mal.  Ahora mismo medirá como 140 cm de ancho y unos 60 cm de largo.

 

 

 

Luego he retomado la idea de un segundo cojín en punto.  Hice la parte de delante de uno hace un par de años (tengo que terminar la parte de atrás) y he decidido empezar con el segundo.  El punto es lo que más me cuesta y hacer los ochos ya ni os cuento.  Pero por lo menos ya está en marcha.

 

 

 

 

This past year I have been too tired in the afternoons (when I did have them) and in the evenings to do much of anything.  So I haven't done much of crochet or knitting as you already have seen in my blog.  With the change of my working hours I have to say that it is not that I have more time it is just that in the mornings I am not that tired and I can do a bit more than before.  So that and the fact that it is not hot anymore here in Málaga (it is horrible to touch yarn with all the heat of summer) I have started picking projects that I have alreday started last year or the year before or even before that.  These are the ones I started working again: two granny squares blankets, the beige or white crochet blanket and a cushion cover that I started knitting. I have also been playing with another idea for another granny blanket but that will probably have to wait.  Hope I can keep up and finish at least one of them.
