These are my two crochet-presents.  I am so happy that I was abled to finish them in time.  I was really worried about it.  But, here they are.

First one is my mother's present.  I wanted her to be warm this winter.  It was a big surprise as she didn't expect it.  The colours I used remind me of her.  I cannot remember now the name of the blog were I learnt the pattern, I will look for it as I am sure I have it at work and post it next week.   It is a really easy pattern.

Second present was a blanket for my sister.  Part of the pattern is from Yvestown, from her Conpenhagen pillow that I like so much.  It was quite easy to follow and I am very happy with the result.  It was a lot of work as well.  I would have like it to be a bit bigger but I really didn't have anymore time, in fact, I finished it yesterday evening.  The blanket is kind of heavy and I think I used around 22 yarns.  Yarn is Lana Stop and I must confess it is not my favorite but it is type of yarn I can find in Malaga.

Last picture are my sister's presents.  Blue yarn is Rowan and I bought them in England (you cannot find them in Malaga).  She liked the colour a lot and it was a nice surprise because she didn't expect to received these yarns, specially now she is beginning to enjoy crochet a lot.

    Saludos.

    1. Sorry Mandy I haven't seen your comment until now. The pattern I used is from Yvestown blog. Basically a circunference that I do with 4 chain. Next I do 3 chain + 11 doublé crochet (or treble crochet). Next round would be again 3 chain + 23 doublé crochet in groups of two. Next 36 doublé crochet in groups of three and next the same but you have a chain between the groups of three and 3 chain to make the corners. From that moment is always the same. It is a type of granny square.
I have look in internet and I think you can find it here:

If not look in Pinterest for Yvestown granny square.

Hope I have been able to help you.
