Un cojín de lunares.

Hace un par de años compré una silla en Ikea.  Es cómoda pero claro cuando uno lleva sentado un rato pués echa en falta un cojín.  Así que le puse uno que ténía por casa también de Ikea.

El año pasado se me ocurrió que podía hacer una funda al cojín porque muy bonito como que no es.  Tenía todavía tela de lunares, de las que se usan para hacer los trajes de gitana, y pensé que podía quedar mona.  Todavía soy una novata en el tema de la costura  hago lo que puedo pero soy un poco desastre.  En fín, medí el cojín, corté la tela, compré una cremallera y lo guardé y pensé un día de estos me pongo con la máquina de coser y así practico.  Después de un año ayer fué el día. 

 

La funda desde luego que no está perfecta y la raya de puntos con la máquina de coser es todo menos recta pero bueno más o menos está y la verdad es que me gusta mucho como ha queda.

Todavía no está acabada.  Tengo que ponerle dos cintas para anudarlas a la silla y que no se mueva el cojín pero eso ya será otro día. 

 At home I have a chair from Ikea.  It is the one in the pictures.  I like it but it is quite hard. So I have been using it with a cushion I have, a green one, also from Ikea, which I didn't like that much with this chair.  Last year I was thinking about making something with this fabric I had.  This fabric is used in Spain for flamenca dresses.  Well, I measured the cushion, cut the fabric, bought a zip fastener and put it in a box ... until yesterday. After a year in the box yesterday was the day.  I am not good at sewing, and I really don't know how although I would like to have more time to learn how to do it.  Meanwhile I do it as best as I can.  Well yesterday I used my sewing machine and I almost finished it.  I still have to sew two pieces of fabric to tie the cushion to the chair but in the meantime I can enjoy my new cushion.
